SELF-CARE System 

I have come up with a self-care system for women over 50   

First comes SELF… 

Support could come from family, friends, a group, whether live or online, or a therapist, coach, or consultant who works with family caregivers.  

Educate yourself about your new role; ask plenty of questions of caree and medical professionals.

Love self and others. Give yourself some self-love and compassion. You are doing the best you can, and you are learning as you care. 

Free time—how even it is, even if it is a few minutes alone in the bathroom or watching TV. 

Next comes CARE

Which is 

Create a routine in your life. 

Acceptance of what you can’t change 

Record writing/journaling 

Exercise/physical activities

As a person, what are your dreams?
